I love the historical fiction about events that I nothing about knew, and this book completely fits the Bill. Lake Conemaugh was one of the people caused reservoir with fish for the pleasure of rich tourists stocked. Although the dam was neglected, traces of usage, the owner the necessary repairs to make though tons of water thousands of people who threatened in the bottom of each site.In 1889 broke the dam flooding Valley and killing thousands.

Three rivers rising explores this tragic event through the eyes of several different Zeichen.Celestia, daughter of nouveau riche family.Peter, son of Pennsylvania Bergmann.Kate, contrite nurse to travel East to New York. And Maura, loving mother and wife to a Eisenbahningenieur.Obwohl concentrated intertwine the meat of the story on Celestia and Peter the other stories with you, and you all come together at the Ende.Ich thought this was a really effective way shows the event and how it affected different kinds of people.

I have mixed feelings about novels in verse, and this book was no exception.I think very few novels in verse are actually poetic enough to merit is said in this Format.Aber maybe I feel that way, because I very much about poetry does not know this very possible ist....Wie, was the format in order, but I ask me if the story would have been rich in prose, poetry, rather than just prose had been told.
